The Hon. Sir Guy Green AC KBE CVO is a former Chief Justice and Governor of Tasmania and Administrator of the Commonwealth. He served as President of the Order of Australia Association and was a member of the judging panel in 2004. He retired as trustee of CEFA in 2008.

The Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG is a former Justice of the High Court of Australia, President of the NSW Court of Appeal, Judge of the Federal Court of Australia, Inaugural Chairman of the Australian Law Reform Commission, Chancellor of Macquarie University and has served in many international and United Nations positions. He served as trustee of CEFA from 2009-2011.

Emeritus Professor Dame Leonie Kramer AC DBE FACE FAHA is a former Chancellor of the University of Sydney and member of the New South Wales Secondary Schools Board. She was a Delegate to the 1998 Constitutional Convention. She served as a CEFA trustee from 2003-2011.

Professor George Winterton (deceased)

Professor George Winterton was Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Sydney and an Emeritus Professor of theUniversity of New South Wales. He was a member of the Republic Advisory Committee and a Delegate at the 1998 Constitutional Convention. He was a member of the judging panel in 2004. He served as CEFA trustee from 2003 until his death in 2008.
