Parliamentary Club showcased at Primary and Secondary Principal’s National Conference |

October 1, 2007 Monday October 1 2007, saw CEFA’s Parliamentary Club civics initiative showcased at The Grand Chancellor Hotel Hobart to the Primary and Secondary Principal’s Association annual conference. The event brought school leaders from around the nation together to discuss issues that affect their schools. The Parliamentary Club was very well received and continues to gain the attention of educators from all parts of Australia.
Representatives from the Parliamentary Education Office and PACER (Parliament and Civics Education Rebate) in attendance, also commented on the value of The Parliamentary Club and the capacity of this initiative to bring together all key stakeholders to deliver a broad, far reaching and long lasting civics education experience for Australian school students. CEFA is in high demand to present The Parliamentary Club at history, social educator and teacher association conferences throughout the country and the initiative continues to grow with success stories emerging across the eastern seaboard from Grace Lutheran College Qld, down to St Leonard’s College in Victoria and many schools throughout NSW. CEFA has also commenced training for 12 schools in Western Australia in its drive to implement the project nationally and to incorporate The Parliamentary Club in all Australian schools. |
