March 18, 2008 CEFA is delighted that the article appearing in the Civics & Citizenship Edition of AGORA for 2008 has been recognized by teachers from across Australia. As a result of the article, which gives a full description of implementing Parliamentary Clubs in Australian schools, CEFA has been contacted by large numbers of schools hoping to join the project. Don Perna, CEFA's Parliamentary Club Director, describes how high school students get involved in 'the art of the possible' politics. The editor of AGORA Ms Ingrid Purnell has commented on the article in these terms - "Thanks for your fantastic contribution to the AGORA (History Teachers Association of Victoria) journal, it really gives the edition some pedagogical weight!
