The Parliamentary Club is continuing to gain support from around the nation.  Australia’s only student participation magazine, “CONNECT”, has published an article by CEFA’s Director of The Parliamentary Club National Initiative - Don Perna, showing its support of this whole-of-school student engagement project.

The Australian Curriculum Studies Association (ACSA) was commissioned by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to manage the 2008 Civics and Citizenship Education National Forum held on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 June 2008 at the National Museum of Australia, Canberra.

40 schoolteachers active in civics and citizenship education (CCE) were selected from around Australia to participate. Teachers from Government, Catholic and Independent schools attended.
